Terms of Service

You need an account to save progress and to access membership content. You agree to provide a valid email address, to keep your login details confidential, and to be responsible for everything done through your account.

A membership is licensed to one person for personal, non-commercial study. You may not share, sell, lend or transfer your login details, use the account simultaneously with other people, or use one account to teach or supply material to a class or group. Teachers and schools who need multiple seats should contact us. We may suspend accounts that show signs of sharing or automated access.

Level 1 quizzes and practice, the words album preview and a limited ear-training trial are free. The remaining levels, the full practice bank, the Final exams and full ear training require a paid membership. Prices and what each plan includes are shown on the plans page.

• Payments are processed by Stripe. By paying you also accept Stripe's terms; we never receive or store your full card details.
• The yearly membership is billed once for a 12-month term and renews automatically at the then-current price unless you cancel before the end of the term.
• You can cancel at any time from your account's billing portal. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the paid term.
• Prices are in Canadian dollars and may change for future terms; we will not change the price of a term you have already paid for.
• Failed or reversed payments may result in access being suspended.

The questions, explanations, exercises, lesson text, audio, graphics and site design are protected by copyright and remain the property of the website owner or its licensors. Your membership grants a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to view and practise with the material for your own study. See Copyright & Intellectual Property for details.

• Copying, screenshotting in bulk, printing for distribution, scraping or otherwise extracting the question bank or any substantial part of it.
• Using bots, scripts, crawlers or automated tools against the site or its APIs.
• Republishing, reselling, sublicensing or distributing the content, or using it to build a competing question bank, course or app.
• Attempting to bypass the paywall, access controls or usage limits, or to reverse-engineer the service.
• Uploading unlawful content or interfering with other users' use of the service.

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, in particular the sharing and copying rules. Where a serious breach has occurred we may terminate without a refund; otherwise our Refund Policy applies.

We work to keep the site available but it is provided “as is” and “as available”. Content, question sets and features may be added, changed or removed, and maintenance or third-party outages may interrupt access. The material is study support and we do not guarantee any particular examination result.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for your current membership term. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under Québec consumer protection law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the applicable laws of Canada. The courts of the judicial district of Montréal, Québec, have jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to the rights consumers have under Québec's Consumer Protection Act.

We may update these terms; the “Last updated” date above will change and continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
