Last updated: August 20, 2026

All original material on this website is protected by Canadian and international copyright law.

1. Ownership

The original multiple-choice questions, answer explanations, practice and Final exam sets, ear-training and sight-singing exercises, lesson text, the musical words album entries as compiled and presented here, illustrations, mascot artwork, audio, layout, code and overall look and feel are owned by the website owner, except for third-party material used with permission or under licence and short factual or public-domain references (for example composer names and standard theory terminology), which remain with their respective owners.

2. What your membership gives you

Buying access grants a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable and non-exclusive licence to view the material and practise with it for your own study for as long as your membership is active. It does not transfer ownership, copyright or any other intellectual property right, and it does not grant teaching, classroom, institutional or commercial rights.

3. Prohibited use

  • Copying, reproducing or transcribing questions, explanations or exercises outside your own personal study notes.
  • Bulk extraction of any kind: scraping, crawling, automated requests, API harvesting, mass screenshots, printing or exporting the question bank.
  • Redistributing, publishing, uploading, streaming or sharing the material β€” including in study groups, cloud drives, messaging apps, forums or social media.
  • Reselling, sublicensing or renting access, or sharing your login with anyone else.
  • Using the material β€” in whole, in part, or in adapted or translated form β€” to create or train a competing question bank, course, workbook, app or dataset, including machine-learning training sets.
  • Removing or altering copyright notices, watermarks or attribution.

4. Permitted personal use

You may work through questions on your own devices while signed in, and take handwritten or personal notes for your own revision. Teachers who wish to use the platform with students should contact us about appropriate access rather than sharing an account.

5. Enforcement

We monitor for automated access and unusual usage patterns. Accounts involved in copying or sharing may be suspended or terminated under the Terms of Service, and we reserve all remedies available under copyright law.
